From the east coast of Newfoundland, this top Canadian franchise has expanded across 5,514 km of the Great White North. HDI is grateful to have been a part of the design for the past 12 years. Each restaurant has a feature wall mural of the famous jellybean row houses throughout Newfoundland. Since this was a way for city dwellers to give new life to a historical town, it was a significant piece included in the designs.
MARY BROWN'S, MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
Maintaining the bold colours of the row houses, the orange arches at the order desks help draw customers in from the streets.
The space planning and kitchen design make it effortless for staff to function and ensure only the best food is served.
To complete the interior, the field finishes are organic with stone look flooring and wood wall tiles. The recipe for amazing fried chicken and excellent design keeps this Canadian success story growing.
The brand was founded in 1969 by Mary Brown in St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador.
