Janine’s passion for both the creative arts and mathematics shines through her academic and professional journey. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UBC and furthered her education at Ryerson Polytechnic University, where she earned her Interior Design Degree.

With over a decade of experience as part of the Hager team, she has contributed to large-scale hotel and senior living projects, refining her creative and detail-oriented design skills. Janine prioritizes functionality in her designs and collaborates closely with clients to ensure projects are both aesthetically pleasing and cohesive while meeting budgetary requirements.

Zandro boasts over 25 years of professional design expertise as a Senior Interior Designer.. He earned his B.Sc in Architecture from the Technological Institute of the Philippines and obtained a Certificate in Urban Design from Simon Fraser University. At HDI, Zandro takes charge of project scheduling, team leadership, and design direction. His forte lies in harmonizing the perpetual need for innovative design solutions with the pragmatic constraints of time, budget, and corporate objectives.

Zandro seizes every opportunity to travel and never leaves home without his sketchbook. He's known for getting The Beatles and Star Wars songs stuck in his colleagues' heads, and he doesn't feel the slightest bit guilty about it.

Candice, a graduate of Algonquin College with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design and an Interior Design Management Certificate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, boasts over 15 years of experience in the field. Specializing in residential, multi-family, and hospitality designs, she has successfully spearheaded numerous projects, including the rebranding of hotel and restaurant interiors across the US, UK, and Canada. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for design, Candice has led teams in the planning and execution of high-profile hotel and multi-family projects.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Candice takes great pride in her Indigenous heritage, honoring the traditions and ancestral history of the Metis people. Actively involved in the BC Metis Nation, she supports community events, Indigenous businesses, and participates in the Metis counsel. Driven by her love for leadership, design, cultural diversity, and architecture, Candice's multifaceted experience and unique perspectives continue to shape the landscape of today's interior design industry.

Karen brings over 25 years of extensive experience to HDI, most recently as a principal in her own design firm for over 15 years.  She prioritizes building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients and stakeholders. Through personalized engagement strategies and attentive client service, Karen fosters trust and loyalty, resulting in enhanced client satisfaction.

Through effective communication across diverse stakeholder groups, from C-suite executives to frontline staff, Karen brings exceptional negotiation skills and a diplomatic approach. She navigates complex business negotiations and design variations to achieve win-win outcomes.
